Alpha Zeta Young Alumnus Award

The Alpha Zeta Young Alumni Award seeks to recognize alumni, under the age of 40, who continue to live the values and principles of Alpha Gamma Rho.  Nominations for the award will be evaluated in four key areas:

  • Involvement in AGR as an undergraduate and alumni member
  • Living the covenant and values of AGR
  • Career success
  • Contributions to community and agriculture

The recipient of the Alpha Zeta award will then be nominated for the Alpha Gamma Rho Grand President’s award. The undergraduate chapter and alumni boards are excited to recognize the success of our younger alumni. The recipient of the award will be announced at Founder’s Day and will be encouraged to share their experiences with the undergraduate chapter following the Wednesday evening formal dinner. Alumni are asked to nominate deserving Brothers before June 15, 2016 using the online application form found here. If you have questions, please contact Kyle Cooney, VNR Alumni Relations or Peter Tomlinson, Chapter Advisor.

Nominate a Member for the Young Alumnus Award

The Alpha Zeta chapter of Alpha Gamma Rho is establishing a young alumnus award to recognize individuals who are making significant contributions to agriculture and are great representatives of AGR early in their career. This nomination form is very similar to the nomination form for Grand President Award presented annually by the national fraternity and it is our intention to nominate the recipient of the Alpha Zeta award. Nominations are due June 15th and selection will be determined by the Alpha Zeta Undergraduate Chapter officers and Alumni Board.
